Upbeat Arts is proud and excited to launch a new choir in North Brisbane in 2022. The new choir will complement our other arts programs and provide an opportunity for more Brisbane residents to engage with us.

We are keen to hear from potential new members and kitchen team volunteers for the new choir.

Upbeat Arts launched in Queensland on World Mental Health Day in 2014. Our programs are created by a team of highly qualified creative leaders with valuable experience, working with marginalised communities.

Activities include creative writing, song writing and choirs, with research funded by independent organisations including Opera Australia and Wesley Medical Research Institute in Queensland.

Our program leaders build upon the capabilities of participants, encouraging learners to take their own personal journey of growth and development, by growing, developing and nurturing a combination of artistic capabilities and life skills in a caring and safe environment.

To engage, educate and empower marginalised communities via tailored arts and cultural programs, creating pathways to wellbeing, education and employment.

To be the leading provider of inclusive creative programs for positive mental health and wellbeing.
