Choir Conductor - Bundaberg

Your Role

Upbeat Arts is seeking an exceptional Choir Conductor to lead and inspire our Bundaberg Choir. This role is crucial in shaping the musical direction of this new choir, fostering a positive and inclusive environment, and contributing to the artistic and personal development of our members.

The Bundaberg Team:

  • Program Leader
  • Conductor
  • Accompanist

The Bundaberg team will consist of 3 separate positions, and this Conductor role is as described below:

As an Upbeat Arts Conductor, your role will focus on the musical direction of the choirs, collaborating closely with an experienced accompanist. Upbeat Arts manages the operational aspects of the choir, including member and volunteer recruitment, communication, record-keeping, and all other logistical needs essential for sustaining a choir.

No two rehearsals will be the same, as you work with our dedicated choir members and volunteer buddies and teach them about their voice and singing within a choir setting.

Together and when it’s appropriate for a brand new choir, we pursue exciting performance opportunities, which you will help the choir prepare for.

Our Position Description tells the whole story.

Special note: if you are passionate about community music making, and don’t meet all criteria mentioned in the Position Description – please still submit and application – let’s talk!
